Beta Phi Delta was founded on January 31st, 2002. The amazing family our twelve founders created is still thriving today. We are so happy to be able to celebrate all the accomplishments made through Beta Phi Delta in the past ten years. Happy Anniversary Beta Phi Delta!

Beta Phi Delta would like to congratulate the new active members of Upsilon class: Jennifer Gip, Nelson Luu, Allyson Vertti, and Priscilla Yun; their respective bigs, Daniel Yim, Jonathan Yu, and Ivy Trinh; and George Way and Jason Yuen. The Upsilon pledging process gave us an innumerable amount of great memories, and we are thrilled to welcome four new additions into our family!

Here’s to the end of a great quarter for Beta Phi Delta! We had a lot of fun serving the community, especially working with some new organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank. Thank you for a great Upsilon Rush! We’d like to give a big thank you to our alumni who attended rush events, and thank you to the rest who supported us from afar. Another big thank you goes out to all the rushees and friends of Beta who attended our events. It was great getting to know you all!

Congratulations to the Upsilon bid recipients. We are excited to have you become a part of our growing family and history.

We’d like to remind everyone that our community service events and many of our socials are non-Beta exclusive. If you missed our rush or were not extended a bid, we hope to see you at some of these events so we can meet you even before our Phi Rush in Spring 2011. The events will be posted on the calendar shortly. Also, feel free to email admin@betaphidelta.com if you have any questions or would like to receive notifications before all our non-Beta exclusive events.

Spring Quarter 2011 and the 2010-2011 school year is now over, and we have much to celebrate.

First, Beta Phi Delta would like to welcome the new active members of Tau class: Linda Nguyen, Rico Santangelo, Khanh “Ivy” Trinh, Carol Yeh, and Jonathan Yu (and their respective bigs)! A job well done to Erica Faris and Jeremy Tan as well for your efforts this quarter. You’ve all worked very hard this quarter, so enjoy sleeping in this summer!

Secondly, congratulations to all the graduates. Peter Bi (Λ), Erica Faris (Ν), Sebastian Peña (Ξ), Camille Delas Armas (O) and Alex Ung (Ο) all completed their undergraduate education here at the University of California, Riverside, and are moving onto the next chapter in their lives. We have loved sharing time with you as our active Beta brothers and sisters, and can’t wait to see what you will accomplish. Congratulations to our alumni graduates too! Janet Shi (Δ) received her master’s degree from the University of Southern California; Nisha Patel (Η) from Loyola Marymount, Janet Miclat (E) from Angeles University Foundation, Laura Ybarra (E) from California State University, Los Angeles, and Jeremy Tan (Λ) from the University of California, Riverside. We’d especially like to thank Jeremy for his commitment to Beta throughout his graduate school education, and for being an official active alumni in his last quarter here.

Lastly, congratulations to Eileen McCann (Γ) on her recent engagement. May you have great happiness in the years ahead.

To all UCR students and friends of Beta, we hope you did great on finals. Have a wonderful break, and look out for us next year as we continue to provide service to the City of Riverside and its surrounding areas!

Winter Quarter is drawing to a close, and it’s been a great quarter. We had our annual winter retreat, elections, alumni banquet, and of course, many wonderful community services.

Now that Spring Quarter is coming up, our old cab is stepping down and our new cab is transitioning to their new positions. Our new cab is:
