Beta Phi Delta will be presented with the KRCB’s Outstanding Litter Prevention Award on October 24th, 2013 at the 2013 Community Recognition Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Marriott in Riverside from 11:30am – 1:00pm. The luncheon is to celebrate “Outstanding Leadership toward the Beautification of the city.”
The award given to Beta is “for the team’s commitment to their Adopt-A-Street, community beautification projects and organizing graffiti eradication projects with the City of Riverside’s Public Works Department”.
Beta Phi Delta is the only UC Riverside affiliated organization to be receiving an award of recognition from the KRCB program this year.
What a fun way to start the quarter! The first two weeks of the Fall Quarter went by so quickly and all our Omega Rush events have come to an end. We hope everybody enjoyed the events, whether you made them to all or just one!
We would like to thank all of the alumni, rushees, and guests for attending the events and making the Omega Rush a success.
A big congratulations to the new Omega pledge class and we hope for a great pledging process. If you missed our Omega Rush events or were not extended a bid, we still have community services on Saturdays and other socials that are non-Beta exclusive. Our first Saturday service will be Light the Night walk. We will be meeting at Lot 24 at 5:30pm for those that are interested in participating. Please check our Facebook page or our calendar for other service events.
Thank you for a great Fall Rush and congratulations to the Omega pledges of Beta Phi Delta!
